What we do – No fix no fee – Free estimates
I have been working with computers since the mid 1980’s. Commodor’s and Amiga’s, then in 1985 came the arrival of the first iterations of Windows. The first five versions of Windows–Windows 1.0, Windows 2.0, Windows 2.1, Windows 3.0, and Windows 3.1–were all based on MS-DOS, so it was not until the revolutionary Windows 95 appearance in 1995 that the platform incarnation of what we have today has grown into. So from Win 95 (Chigago), 98 (Memphis), 98 second edition, Win 2000 (Win NT 5), Win ME (Millenium & Whistler), Win XP from 2003 – 2007 (Harmony, Symphony, Emerald and Anvil). Windows Vista 2007 (Longhorn), Windows 7 (2009 – 2012) Win 8 (2012) Win 8.1 (2013- Blue) Winows 10 (2015 Threshold 1 &2, Redstone 1 to 5, 19H1, Vanadium and finally Vibranium) Windows 11 (2021) Cobalt, Nickel and Germanium. We come to 2025, Windows 12 was expected, but maybe later in 2026.
I still have clients that run Win XP, so my back catalogue of Windows software and knowledge is quite extensive. But at my age the big problem is remembering it all.
I have now turned 70 and semi retired. But, still active for any help or advice that you may need.
Do not hesitate to call me if you have a problem.
